Reducing the width: in all the a forementioned steps, the vertical rollers simultaneously operate across the width of the slab to bring it to the desired final sheet width.
Final rolling: at this stage, the thickness of the sheet is reduced again by passing through several four- roller stations to reach the desired thickness.
Cooling and packaging: the sheet produced in this step is cooled and then coiled.
Cold rolling method

The cold rolling method is actually an “extension’’ of the hot rolling method. This means that the iron sheet produced by hot rolling becomes thinner by passing through special rollers, or its appearance quality or surface resistance increases. In this method, the sheet is passed through the roller at room temperature (temperature lower than recrystallization) which leads to an increase in the hardness of the sheet (more malleability) and its resistance. Of course, since the process raises the temperature, cooling agents will be used in the production line.
